2001 Volvo S60 T5 $3000

Post by charben »

More pictures will be added tonight.

230K miles.
5 cylinder turbo
Auto transmission with auto-stick.
New tires in the last 4 months.
Black leather heated seats.
Dual zone climate control.
Sunroof.
Alloy wheels.
Fog lights.
Power seats, windows, mirrors.
AM/FM/CD stereo with front panel aux input.
Some bulbs currently out (position lights).
Adhesive clear chip protector probably needs replaced. This is basically a clear sticker type of material that is located on the nose of the car that functions like a bra would. It is fairly well worn. It is also located on the front-facing part of the mirrors.

The car really runs well and has plenty of "get up and go." It is a third car for me and I no longer can justify having three cars. Asking $3000. I would consider a partial trade but would need the majority to be cash.

I'd be on this except my garage is filled. 230K is just being broken in. Most of my fellow Volvo aficionados see this as an almost new car. My last V had about 860K and it was running strongly, when Ms. Ring traded it.

Also, I've seen this V and it's a pretty car.

Daughter is looking to replace the F150 for better mileage, was hoping for 50-60 mpg. :) Her bicycle could use a little air in the tires and be ready to go. Need a truck to haul whatever a Jeep cannot?

Absolutely the best high-mileage production car. I was on the mileage list list at Segna's in Columbus, and I was about mid-way down the list. There's a guy in New York state who has over a million miles on a V.

The picture of the mirror is to show the protective coating material (the sticker-type stuff that I referred to in the original post) that is coming off.

Plus what in trade? ;)

Also, in the interest of full disclosure, I did get a ticket in Parma for the tint...which I have not changed. :)

I think I have a used eye patch laying around somewhere. You need a 1996 Explorer or a 2011 Dodge Neon?

Heres an interesting factoid that I didnt know. Volvo was bought by Ford in 1999, who subsequently sold them onto a chinese motor manufactuer - Geely automobile in 2010.

Volvo is Latin for "I Roll"

The first Volvo rolled of the production line in 1927, and was called the "Jakob"

And now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
I carry, because I care!

Maybe about 48 cents in change and a couple year old fries. I'm sure it'll sell quickly. That a pretty fair price.

Used to be a Volvo dealer in Brunswick, Maine, who made one into an electric blue pick up trick, a thing of beauty. The Volvo will run, with reasonable care, forever.
