S.B. 202: Repeal state preemption ORC 9.68

S. B. No. 202 - Senators Thomas (D), Craig (D).
Cosponsors: Senators Antonio (D), Williams (D), Fedor (D), Sykes (D), Lehner (R).

To repeal section 9.68 of the Revised Code and to repeal on December 28, 2019, the version of section 9.68 of the Revised Code that is scheduled to take effect on that date, to restore local authority to generally regulate firearms related conduct.

She's from Dayton, and is term-limited in the Senate. Not sure what her political aspirations are, but this smacks of political maneuvering to curry favor with the electorate in her district because of the recent Dayton shooting.
