I know this thread is getting a bit older but the issue still remains.


Am I right in assuming this could affect carry at fairgrounds?

Yes. I wouldn't worry too much about it though. While restrictions like the ones Sittenfeld suggests might be palatable in the circles he travels in, they have been steadily becoming more and more unpopular in the eyes of the public over the last couple of decades or so. This may gather support in inner city or heavily liberal areas such as Toledo or Cincinnati, but common sense will very likely prevail everywhere else. I have little concern this effort would succeed. In fact, I think there's a good chance it will backfire on them in a PR sense.
