Stark County renewal.. anybody?
My permit expires next month. I live in Stark but I normally get it renewed in Wayne because they are quick. Has anyone gotten a renewal at Stark Co lately? What was your experience?

I haven't renewed in Stark myself, but I've talked to several who have. Stark is fast - they usually issue / reissue on the spot so you walk out with your new license as long as you don't have any complications or issues in your background check. The only issue with them currently is that they only accept applications two day s per week for a total of 15 hours - the minimum required by law. And, it is walk-in only, first-come, first-served so depending on how many others are handing in applications depends on how long you have to wait to get in.

Will Stark accept your Wayne for renewal? Or will they want a new application!

If they don't, they aren't following Ohio law. Not that this would be the first time a sheriff's office implemented their own rules about CHLs, or course.Cruiser wrote:Will Stark accept your Wayne for renewal? Or will they want a new application!

Just a quick follow-up.
Went in at about 8am, 11 people ahead of me. Got called about 10am, was in and out in about 10 minutes.
