Still no word.
It really shouldn't be this difficult!!

I assume you've called at least a few times at this point...

I posted this on May 9th and received a call the same day. Picked up my renewal on May 10.

I understand that the Sheriff's office has been inundated with CCW license requests, but almost a 5 week wait for a 2nd renewal is ridicules.

Sorry for the bump, just realized my license expires Monday. My initial application in Summit only took 7 days so I will be doing it there again.

First, the wording on the website has changed, it now says "If renewing CCW and previous license is from another county, a copy of your training certificate would be appreciated."

Second, What is this certification as noted below? When they ask if I read it I just have to answer "yes and I certify that I did"? What is there to submit?

From website under ALL APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: "A certification that the applicant has read the safety pamphlet produced by the Ohio Peace Officers Training Commission."

I believe they mean the booklet provided by the Attorney General concerning concealed carry, as that is what you are required to certify that you have read before applying.

But what do I submit to them that certifies that I read it?
