This was in this mornings newspaper in the "Public Docket" listed from action of the Sheriffs Department. The paper is The Courier. and on page B5. .https://findlaycourier-oh.newsmemory.c ... urn false;

"A Findlay man with a conceal carry permit while holstering a firearm at the Hancock County Fairgrounds was informed of the fairground's policy as a "weaponfree property" Saturday."

While I find it disturbing that one of our conceal carry permit people would be observed while "holstering" a firearm. :roll: I find it more disturbing that the Sheriff Deputies could make such a statement. :? I did not attend the fair so couldn't say if they have the grounds posted. That would be a completely different question.

Been several counties backsliding in this regard. OFCC honchos and AG Yost need to attend/crash the next state of Ohio county fairgrounds board annual conference, if there is such a thing.

Yeah, one of our members (xpd54?) attended it to address them, if memory serves.

Not surprising there's a yearly "conference". Nothing sweeter than spending government funds to throw yourself a party disguised as work session.
