I didn't get any average over 2000 fps but IIRC, I might have had a couple of rounds that very close. It's been a couple of years.
From my notes: 158 JHP, WW296, ave. 1767 fps in a Marlin 94 (1210 fps out of a 4" SW 686).
Likewise 1794 fps with AA#9
