S&W 625 with 4" barrel
4.6-gr powder - AVERAGE = 701 fps - ES = 40.6
4.9-gr powder - AVERAGE = 727 fps - ES = 15.8
5.2-gr powder - AVERAGE = 764 fps - ES = 25.6
Chrony refused to read one (1) each of the five (5) shot strings for the lowest and highest charge weights.
Again, that is a very nice, tight ES for the 4.9-gr load. Since that was the string with all five (5) shots measured I dare say it's golden.
Interestingly, the highest charge weight (5.2-gr) had a real oddball low reading of 624.3 fps which I discarded. If you included it then the average for the 5.2-gr load is only 729 fps which makes no sense. <shrug>
That 4.9-gr load is a keeper. She behaves well in both a snubby semi-auto and an N-frame revolver. You can't really ask for much more than that.
