OC at a school?

Open Carry is carrying a firearm unconcealed in Ohio. OC does not require a concealed handgun license, but the practice requires intimate knowledge of the law since there are places and situations where OC is prohibited but carrying concealed would be permitted. OC is also likely to attract attention. This forum is for discussion of OC, not for debating the pro's and con's or coordinating any type of protest events.

Yeah well the law would allow conceal carry in schools and a few other places it passed the house and senate. However Gov. Snyder Veto'ed it, two days after sandy hook.

Which is ridiculous but anyways, you can open carry into Sheriff Office, Trooper Post and Police Station open with CPL also (CHL) ..

IT is our own fault as to why it is this way. No enough of us are willing to get and and vote! We need to be upfront and active with our rights or we are going to loose them one by one! 8)

Ask any of the low info types specifically if a law will keep the bad guys out and most of them will readily admit that it will not. They just don't seem to be able to wrap their heads around the fact that anybody would carry a gun without intending to use it.

I think he means that we aren't planning firing our weapon when we leave the house in the morning. Not that we lack the mental resolution to fire if forced into that situation.

It sucks that you have to be 'politically correct' in how you speak about guns.

I do intend to use my gun, I just intend to use it in a legal way.

That might mean I don't FIRE my gun for weeks at a time.

Darn ammo shortage.
