A Well Dressed Walmart Shopper

Open Carry is carrying a firearm unconcealed in Ohio. OC does not require a concealed handgun license, but the practice requires intimate knowledge of the law since there are places and situations where OC is prohibited but carrying concealed would be permitted. OC is also likely to attract attention. This forum is for discussion of OC, not for debating the pro's and con's or coordinating any type of protest events.

Excellent...although I did take note of the fact that the hammer is down. So she's either carrying on an empty chamber or she "lowered" the hammer on a live round. :|

I say it's a posed photo.

+1 and that does not look like a Walmart...shelf tags are not typical of any walmart I have visited.

Things wrong with this picture:

1) It's not a Glock (or XD or M&P or ...) :P

2) It's too nice a store to be Walmart

3) It's not in Condition 1

This photo could also have been taken in Kaliforniastan. They can OC there as long as the handgun is unloaded. So, she may have decided to carry it with the hammer down on an empty chamber of an unloaded firearm.

Yes it looks like a posed photo... so what? I'm more disappointed she's not carrying in condition 1!

Condition 3 is "Israeli Carry." Maybe not how we do things, but some folks are hard-wired to do it that way, especially with a 1911.

Anybody consider the possibility the gun is an LDA?
