State signs down!

I traveled to the Aviation Museum in Port Clinton this afternoon to eat at the Tin Goose Diner (great place!) The main building always had the regular Firearm Prohibited signs you usually see. They were gone! In their stead was a generic-looking Firearms Prohibited and under it was printed By County Ordinance. What ordinance could Ottawa County pass to prohibited firearms? I don't know if the Aviation Museum gets funding from the county, city or state or if it's entirely privately funded though it's right beside the airport. :?

Seem to recall signage like that at the same place in 2019. I took a photo then looked it up through the county's official website. No such regulation existed
under the code they listed, or any other.

Wouldn't be the first time I've seen that deception pulled.

You are correct. The diner was shipped in and restored, then added on in an authentic style.

The museum is a lot to take in and so much to see and learn. We were given an exclusive tour from one of the curators and got even more information that they could print on a plaque.

Don't get up that way much to visit. But friends in PC took us there, had to fumble an excuse to go back to the car once.

Once 8)

Thought breakfast would be ski high but actually was very reasonable. Next time up to CMP I'll swing by again then
