I needed to fill various welding gas cylinders Friday.
Since i have mostly DeLille cylinders my first trip was there.

DeLille Oxygen 772 Marion Rd, Columbus, OH 43207
Posted prominently barring all firearms from the property.

Next was a trip to the Airgas facility 858 Distribution Dr, Columbus, OH 43228. Also prominently posted no firearms allowed on the property.

ETA:
Central Ohio Welding 253 Spring St Columbus. Prominently posted no guns on property.

Just fyi.

If you find an unposted place, share that too okay? I wonder if they're somehow erroneously thinking that the mere presence of a firearm means it's going to be discharged and blow up the whole joint?

Never noticed any sign on Albright Welding Supply in Wooster when I stop in to get my aviation oxygen cylinder refilled.

I always get my oxy., acet. and argon tank for my wire feed at one place an they are posted as well.

I would say it's because of the nature of the business, but I don't see how the meer carrying of a gun is going to cause a problem.

I own all six of my tanks so I could go anywhere to fill them , but everybody else is posted too.

Update: Praxair 450 Greenlawn Ave Columbus
Is NOT posted.
They are formerly Liquid Carbonic that used to be off Neil avenue & Harrison area.
Mentioned to an employee and he said everybody that works there had their license but company rules no carry for them. A couple customers also said they carry.
Pleasant surprise, and they took in a couple old crusty tanks i had no questions asked.

Looks like I need to look elsewhere as I'm assuming all the places are posted around me. Guess I'll need to take a drive and check all the places near me, as I know better than to call and ask.

I need the tank for my welder filled soon anyway.

An update will be coming soon as possible and those that DO post will be added to our list.

I look around the SW Ohio area (unless someone knows of an unposted one). I've been using flux-core for a while now, but I'm going to start using gas soon. I'll keep an eye out.

Tractor Supply on 33 in Lancaster. I didn't even know they had other gases, I was getting propane. I'm guessing they do tank exchanges.
