Columbus Zoo - Is it okay to CHL there now?

Post by Yojimbo »

Haven't been in there in a while and will be visiting this week.

Is the Columbus Zoo a CPZ or is it good to go for CHL?

All I did was look at their website, know before you go.

Flimsy reasons abound for it, but seems like most zoos, in Ohio at least, post against carry. For example, Cincinnati Zoo says they are part of the Cincinnati Public School system. Zoo does offer some kind of program and a small classroom to hold it in, but to me that sounds like really weak sauce to bar carry on the entire property.

Last time I was there (a few years ago) there were no metal detectors or screenings, but they do search bags and such sometimes.

Didn't I recently read something about the Columbus Zoo being decertified or the like?
