Ohio to Virgina

I know we have reciprocity with Ky, which we may not go thru, W. Virginia and Virginia.
Do any of these states have goofy rules for transportation of a firearm- AKA handgun?

Be careful if you plan to go through any part of Maryland.

Back now! Good trip and no part of Maryland but an 88 mph ticket in VA. The State policeman dropped it to 80 to keep it to a fine only. An 88mph is reckless op in Va and an appearance required for an 88mph speeding charge and a possible 6 month jail sentence in their jailhouse!

Know I will pay that!

We did tell the Statey we both have an Oh. concealed carry permit and have three loaded firearms in the car... He said thanks for telling me.. all that was said.

We ended up having some good laughs talking about our night before (I was sleep walking for the first time at the motel) and a MM ticket.

A few bucks, (I hope a few) no jail time and met a great guy!

We are tired now and going to bed soon after a 1400 mile drive...

Glad the trip was (mostly) okay. Hope I'm wrong but am betting that ticket will run well over $200.

From my experience, if he was doing 88 in Virginia, he was ticketed for going too slow.

Really, I was guilty just got busted.. Can't deny any of it. (Mario Andready would have sure been proud!) Fun till I got stopped! Must have driven 200 miles @ 80+ before I got busted.
