Do Not go to Summit County. I believe if you have everything done and correct with you, Portage will take walk-ins. At least, they used to. License in 20 minutes.

Geauga is good. Couple day turnaround but no appointments. Strictly first come, first served.

Stark is only open the statutory minimum 15 hours per week to accept applications. Before the virus/stay at home orders they were walk-in, don't know if that has changed. However, they are fast - if you don't have any issues in your NICS or BCI electronic background check, you'll walk out with it.

Stark is currently doing appointments during the covid mess. Last I heard they are booking a month out.

So nearly 4 months after booking my appointment I now have my freshly minted CHL, I was in and out in about 15 minutes
