Really NY Post?

Post by kcclark »

The Supreme Court has ruled that the Second Amendment protects the right to own “guns in common use.” That doesn’t cover the semiautomatic weapons regularly used only in mass shootings.

This from a newspaper that is considered right wing. Not looking good.

I emailed all my representatives starting with President Trump, all the way down to my state of Ohio representative , telling them to vote no on any gun control, and look for some real preventative measures, like enhanced mental health care.
Then I donated $40 to Gun Owners of America! A donation to OFCC is just as good!
Please do the same!
Thank you .

Please do not donate any money to the NRA at this time,
until they have a thorough housecleaning. Thank you.

If you do, send it to the ILA. I don't know the specifics of their accounting, but they have separate funds for separate purposes. ILA and PVF are under the NRA umbrella but are expressly for lobbying and campaigning (ie, not promo materials, additional fundraising, classes/education, or the WLP Hookers n Blow Fund).

Personally, I'll be sending any donations to SAF. They don't have the lobbying, but they also don't have WLP.

As my CCW instructor, a retired police sergeant taught us, your first duty is to get yourself and any family and friends out of harm's way. He said let the cops be heroes, they're paid to do it.
