Free Renewal

I called the Erie County Sherrifs Dept. to make a appointment to renew my license and the person asked if I was a veteran and I said yes,Then she told me to bring a copy of my DD-214 and they would wave the fee.Are all Sherrifs like that or is this just Erie?

It's now state law, veterans get their fee waived for new and renewal applications, up to an annual limit (that, as far as I can tell, has never been reached).
