Gonna be a hot one though
Forecast is for about 83 which isn't as hot as it has been. No rain forecast in Powell, but in Cincinnati, it starts tonight and is forecast to continue until the 23rd.

Better weather for a PITP than I expected and the best food I’ve had at one of those things yet.

I particularly enjoyed Steve’s speech, especially his reference to Jefferson’s work on the Declaration and about the consent of the governed.

But I think it should be said...

The PEOPLE of North Korea outnumber the military by about 25:1
If you think they aren’t CONSENTING to their government, your kidding yourself.

If you CONSENT to crappy government, you will GET crappy government.

Food was very good. I wish more people put that much meat in their baked beans. Yummy.

People drinking Coke did not see it coming. :) And then my OSU shirt had a swoosh on it.

After I left the prize table, I was thinking "He who hesitates gets the smaller box of ammunition. "

Last time I was there was when Strickland was there. Glad I could make it back this year. I actually had five events to attend today but made PITP the priority since I had not made it in years.

Your donation to the prize table was acknowledged by Jeff G., who terribly mispronounced your last name while thanking you. He doesn't get out enough I guess.
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

Steve was extra good this year, IMHO

I am trying to remember...

I know that I saw people wearing J.D. Vance T-Shirts on Saturday, who I ASSUME were his staff people.

I also know that I HEARD that Vance had arrived, but I never actually SAW him.

So, did he show up and then leave (purportedly because he knew Mandel was going to play that recording); or did he never actually show in the first place?

Does anyone know the story on that?

As far as I know, it was only staffers.
