We got to Perry around 7:00 it was light rain and chilly.

we were squadded before 8:00 and ready to go. the match started promptly at 9:00 I shot relay 2, 4, 6, and 8 .
the rain was light and never really stopped and it was cold.

There were a few stoppages for target repairs, but ran smoothly I shot a personal best 31 and my other scores were 29, 26, and 19 (total choke fest).

I am happy with my scores besides the 19.

Cant wait for next year.

All the best, Bob.

We got there about 7:50, and was surprised by how short the line for registration was. Was thinking the rain may have had something to do with that. Shot three relays (9,12, & 15), on lane 13, with three difference rifles. Shot a 33 with the Bushmaster. Not great, but not to bad for someone who doesn't really shoot it much. Shot 28 with the AR that I pieced together last winter, not real impressed with that score, but wasn't surprised with the cheap optic that I put on it. I thought I would try out the WASR AK that I traded for a couple of years ago. I truly didn't expect to hit anything, as the sights are horrible on it, but I managed to score a 24 with it, so I didn't feel horrible about it.

Arrived at 8:15 to quite a long line. Good Conversations with fellow shooters.
Paid for 2 relays.
Afterward, I wish I had paid for 2 extra! :)

For fun, I took a "battle rifle" that I hadn't got to shoot past 100 yards- a RRA LAR-8 (it's an AR in 7.62x51). It was a challenge on this fast paced coarse! Big difference from my match grade AR in 5.56!

Saw mostly 5.56mm AR's, 2 Garands 1 bolt gun, and many AK's. The AK can do well on this 300M coarse.

I bought the membership in "FOCP" , as it is a BIG cost savings for the matches this spring.

I recommend thse FOCP shoots to everyone. 8)
