Help OFCC at Summit County Gun Show Sept 27 & 28

OFCC will be manning a table at the Summit County gun show (Ohio Gun, Knife and Military Show) during the weekend of September 27 & 28.

The show is held at the Summit County Fairgrounds, 229 E Howe Rd, Tallmadge, OH 44278 from 9:00am to 5:00pm Saturday, and 9:00 to 4:00pm Sunday.

We could use a couple of people each day to help out! It would be nice to have at least one or two other people at the table at all times to help spread the word about OFCC, hand out info, and take donations. That would give us plenty of help to rotate out for restroom & food breaks, as well as time to check out the vendors.

Admission to the show is free with the exhibitor badges that we get from the show management. That means that if you volunteer for a morning you can get in before the crowd and check out the vendor tables before the doors open at 9am!

This is a great opportunity to meet & talk to like minded people, meet some of your fellow OFCC members, and help out an organization that has done a lot to improve our gun rights in Ohio.

If you would like to volunteer, post in this thread, or send me or djmac1964 a pm to let us know you can help. Don and I are sharing the lead for this show, I'll be taking Saturday and he will be taking Sunday.

The show is two weeks away and we could still use a few volunteers on both days. If you can help out, let us know here or in the Facebook Event at https://www.facebook.com/events/847175085313234/ - don't forget, volunteers get in the show for free and if you volunteer on Saturday morning you can get a look at the vendor tables before the show opens to the public!

Don't worry if you don't think you know enough to help - you know more than you realize, and just by participating in the forums here you already know more than most people. Don't worry if you don't know the answer to a question because you won't be alone and chances are someone else will know the answer or we can look it up. If nothing else you can help out by just being at the table to let people take breaks, so come, work the table for a while, talk to like-minded people and see the show free!

I'll be there Sun, and possibly Dave1199 (the guy that works with me). I'll be coming up from the camper in Kimbolton, so I'll probably have breakfast somewhere down there once I get on the road.

I'm going to a camper in Kimbolton on Saturday after a class in Zanesville. Weird.
