It was a good match this weekend. The weather was beautiful and the stages were fun. The "Answer the Door" stage was my first attempt at designing a stage. I thought it worked out pretty good. Here's the stage diagram <a href="http://www.practicalpistol.net/06-resul ... ere. and some pictures here and here
That drop turner ended up being a lot faster than I thought it was going to be when I first thought up the stage layout. I really expected to be able to shoot one or both of the stationary targets before shooting the drop turner. As it turned out it was tough to get your two hits on the drop turner before it disappears the second time.
I was glad to see all the XD's out there shooting but we need some more wheelgun shooters to show up. There was only two of us this time. Some of you guys must have a S&W 625 or 610 being neglected in your gun cabinet. Nothings more satisfying then out shooting some of the bottom feeders with a wheelgun.

I just bought the Jerry Miculek Smith. I haven't fired it yet, but want to shoot it next year in USPSA. Just have to find the right holster and moon clip carriers... Suggestions?

For moon clips try Ranch Products I am using their clips with my 610 and have been very happy with them and they are very reasonably priced. IIRC i payed $35 for 50 full moon clips

As for moon clip holders there are lot of option but for the price California Competition are probably the best value. The shoot the moon holders are two for $18. Most revolver shooter out there use these

I also like the blade tech twin moon clip holders from TK Custom but they are more expensive but let you get a lot more ammunition on your belt if you need it.
