Lima area instructor?

Post by Mustang380gal »

My oldest daughter lives in the Lima area and asked about concealed carry classes today.

Anyone here in that area an instructor?

She has seen lots of signs for classes but has no idea who to call.

Also, she is expecting a baby in January. Should she wait to do the range part until after the baby is born?

Longstanding medical advice says to avoid shooting during pregnancy.
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

We've discussed that here before. It was what I was going to suggest; it was just better to say an instructor would prefer you wait. Sometimes things are better coming from other than mom. Turns out, she is planning to do the range time after the baby is born.

Terry Maris ( slugger6 on XDTalk ) is one I'm familiar with in the Lima area. I'm sure there are others.

http://www.milsurpstuff.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; did a fine job with the class Wifie took. Wish I had used them....... From what she said her course was more interactive than mine.
Dave and his associate were great and the Mrs really enjoyed the one on one at the range they gave to all.
A few miles to drive but may be worth it!

Bumping this discussion to see if we have any more suggestions on CHL classes in the Lima/Wapak area. Asking for a buddy, I will start by looking in to what was suggested above.
I like to swap brass... and I'm looking for .32 H&R Mag, .327 Fed Mag, .380 Auto and 10mm. If you have some and would like to swap for something else, send me a note!
