I have had a lot of people inquiring about various aspects of the shotgun. Time and time again two subjects come up. First issue is that racking a pump shotgun will is an effective way to communicate, that some how the metallic sound of the action can be relied on for use of force. The level of force I am speaking of fits in the category of physical presence and verbal commands. I am not saying that loading a firearm in front of someone or with in earshot doesn't communicate a level of force, rather I think it is not as effective as other option readily available such as a clear and concise verbal command. I did a shot you tube video on this.

The next myth has to do with accuracy. Far too many people think the shotgun is just a point and shoot death ray. I did an article for Snipers Hide website and a video. Check it out.
