Ruger Marlins shipping to distributors now.

Post by Bruenor »

The Marlin 1895 SBL (Stainless Big Loop) in 45-70 is shipping now. Ruger already knows they probably won't be able to keep up with demand, but that is one sweet looking rifle. Comes factory threaded for a suppressor as well. Suggested retail is a bit higher than I expected though.

Wonder what's coming next on the Marlin list.

Looks pretty good!
I'll be looking for .357 when they ship. The Henry's are in the $8-900 range when I see them.

A bit?

Yeah...
Like a C-8 Corvette can be kinda pricey. Or like Scarlett Johansson has a decent posterior.

As we speak, there's a Marlin 1894 in .357 on the auction site "Gunrunners" in Burton. New Haven, looks new. About 1 hour remaining currenty at $1350, but remember buyers pay 10% plus tax.

the original marlin sbl was a $1000 gun. I dont know what the retail price was at. I can only imagine what the scalpers are going to do for the next couple years.
