I believe I read where Australians modified their AR-15's to go on pump action and they work very well. Antis are extremely upset because it goes around their ban in a legal way and the ranchers get to keep their AR-15's.

I have a Martin 336 lever action with a red dot and a bullet band on the stock. I call it my cowboy assault rifle!
