Dan Wesson Vigil Commander in 9mm - replicates my Valor for carry and shaves 8 ounces. Also means my divorce present won't be evidence anymore.

Beautiful! I'm a big fan of DW 1911's. Well done sir.

Their 9mm's need some help on the extractors, not enough deflection (no matter how much tension you apply, it will only grab the nth amount of the rim). A little file time at the range, send a magazine through it to 'settle' everything after assembly, and both of mine pass the 10-8 extractor test no problem.

Glad is was something minor that was easily fixed. My favorite is my Guardian in 38 Super. It is just superb!

Sig P365, my second. Perhaps the best "pocketable" handgun ever.
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

just picked up a TAURUS 856 Ultra Lite 38 Special Revolver and 4 of the G2C's with extra mags for each and another 1000 rounds of 9mm.
Vance is having a sale on the Taurus 380's so might pick up one of those also and maybe the Judge lol

The magazine capacity is a game changer, for a gun that size (either the regular or the XL). I think the Walther PPS is a great shooting gun, but it is a 6 or 7 round gun, while the XL is 12 rounds in the same size and weight.Brian D. wrote:Sig P365, my second. I do pocket carry using the ten round magazine with pinky extender floorplate. With a 12 round mag, the gun doesn't go far enough inside my front pocket. Concealment suffers and the longer grip gets too snug for an easy grab. And of course I'm using a nylon pocket liner rig that covers the trigger guard, not smart to pocket carry any handgun without one.Mr. Glock wrote:The magazine capacity is a game changer, for a gun that size (either the regular or the XL). You find some cool stuff, Delta-3. The 1911 doesn't like me, but I can appreciate that one.
