I see that WW is SAYING .357 dia bullets in their promotional material but that does not agree well with the SAAMI chamber drawing which shows only a .357 throat.
Bullets for the .350 Legend also get produced on the same machines as 9mm projectiles. The Legend’s bullet construction is different, but the machines and some of the tooling are the same. The economies of scale savings from leveraging components from the .223 Rem. and the 9mm machinery are being passed along to the consumer.

Sources with ammo in hand confirm .355 projectiles. Some folks are saying Ohio DNR has approved, so maybe they will just add it as a loophole ctg ?? I would not think they would want to open it up to all .355 because that would allow 9x19.
Interesting fact, 9x18 Makarov is a legal cartridge NOW ....

ODNR got away from listing specific cartridges and went to the general listing of "Straight-walled cartridge rifles in the following calibers: All straight-walled cartridge calibers from a minimum of .357 to a maximum of .50" as taken from the current regulation. The 9x19 and 9x18 does fall under the .357 size, but I get your point on the 350 Legend being a .355 because they are using 9mm bullets.
So I popped over to SAMMI and looked at the cartridge specifications. Winchester itself lists this as a .357. SAMMI is .357-.003 on the cartridge drawing. But, here's the rub, a quick perusal of the database shows that the vast majority of the cartridge drawing list a number you'd expect and -.003. The 35 Remington and 35 Whelen are .359-.003, but the stated commercial bullet diameter is .358. The 9x19 is .355-.003. And the 357 Magnum (jacketed bullet) is .358-.003 (with the same .346 bore and .355 groove diameters as the 350 Legend).
I think the official engineering term is "wiggle room". But, the 9x19 is still too small because it is never listed as .357 (but the 9x18 is .365 -.001).
Nothing like trying to put down a dear with a 380+P (that is the 9x18).
Interesting.

That is really strange that they list those bore/groove dia for 357 magnum. The only barrels I have heard of that ever run that tight were the old Colt Pythons.
OK here is some explanation maybe. Drawing says "unless otherwise stated all dia +.004, all length dimensions +.015". So they have dimensioned the minimum chamber at MMC (Maximum Material Condition) and applied a +.004" -.000" tolerance.
.359" minus .003" for the bullet. .346" plus .004" for the bore diameter. .355" plus .004" for the groove diameter. you can mix and match as long as you stay in bounds!

Fired some WW 180 grain Power Point ammo yesterday
76 yards muzzle to target. Best 5 shot group was 1.8" with four rounds clustered in 1.2", nice consistent POI. Using a Leopold 6.5x20x40 to test rifle and ammo, will not use that scope for hunting.

Fired some of that same ammo through my 16" CMMG barrel. Right at 2050 fps. That is with the adjustable gas block opened enough for semi auto function.

Most tests I have seen gas adjustments have not made large differences in MV. That is good tho that the box says 2100 and you get 2050 from a 16" barrel.
Starline has brass for $71 per 250 cases.

So has anyone actually been able to confirm that the 350 Legend is alright to use in Ohio? Even reloading for it uses a .355 bullet. I've tried finding something on the ODNR website but have found nohing specific on this cartridge.
