He is not responsible for the actions of anyone other than himself. The anti-gun crowd has been chomping at the bit for something that would sway people against gun owners for a long time. The preparations for the march and all the other protests likely were put into place before Trump even considered running.propertymanager wrote:I honestly think that Trump is responsible for this entire mess. When he signaled his support for the bump stock ban, he signaled his willingness to give in to the anti's. He gave an inch, now the anti's want to take a mile. The anti's are unleashed and are calling for gun bans, confiscation, and even the killing of pro 2A citizens. Nice job Trump!
Repeal is not actually the plan. Desire, maybe. but expressing it is more strategic.WY_Not wrote:I say go for it.
The first ten were required in order to even get the current constitution passed. Repeal any of them and the whole thing is null and void.
Besides, they also tell government where it may not tread. By acting to repeal them they are in fact treading where they were told not to.
But they do, in their own minds, they’re different, and they’re special, and they’re more knowledgeable, and they’re more worldly, and the rest of us, we’re plebes.
You know, we’re not capable of understanding all that they have to deal with. In their minds they cannot leave the running of this country up to democracy and the vote. That’s too risky because we’re too stupid, or we’re too ignorant. We don’t know all this. So regardless how elections turn out, they are gonna end up running the show....

And they haven’t been able to derail all of his agenda. I mean, they’re at their wits’ end here. They’re getting desperate and it’s obvious if you just pay attention to what they’re saying, the areas they’re looking at and going into. It’s pure, utter desperation. They are corrupting every institution they claim to lead in an effort to get things back to normal, and that is them running things.
By the way, them, they, we don’t really know who they are. They’re not the people that get elected. The people I’m talking about. The people that run for office get elected are the pawns. The people that run for office and get elected are the ones that take instruction and follow it. That’s why it’s called deep state. At any rate, I’m really glad you called, ..."
Watch the one minute video.Former Supreme Court justice John Paul Stevens, now retired, gave gun-control advocates false hope recently when he advocated repeal of the Second Amendment. Justice Stevens knows, or should know, that it can’t happen — not because the National Rifle Association is so powerful, but because 44 of the 50 states have enshrined the right to keep and bear arms in their constitutions, and it takes a vote of three-fourths of the states to approve any change in the U.S. Constitution. You do the math.
