Current Legislation & ORC sections Relevant to CHLs

Post by AlanM »

I built this list for my own reference of the ORC and other documents then decided that probably a lot of posters and lurkers could use it too.

I think I hit most of the sections of the ORC that are of interest to the people on these forums. If I missed any or you can think of any other references that should be here PM me and I'll edit this post.

Enjoy, ARM

Thanks Alan, lost a lot of mine on a recent reformat

A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when once they lose their virtue then will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader. Samuel Adams

Yes, I do believe in open carry. An openly armed man is clear in his intentions. Concealed carriers are sneaks and skulkers and elitist, boot licking, political contribution making, running dog lackies of The Man. <wink> (thx grumpycoconut - OpenCarry.org)

This is well done. I think we need to put it on the main page actually.

Contrary to a popular belief when I brag about OFCC accomplishments I'm not looking for your thank you or personal recognition. I'd much prefer you send me an email telling me when you are going to get involved in doing what I've been doing since 1999. We are only as effective as we make ourselves. We need the next generation of OFCC to step to the plate.

Is that you?

Thanks for the thanks, I feel soooo under appreciated sometimes.

Thanks for the 2923.126 suggestion, I don't know how I missed it.

edit - Actually, I missed quite a few, added a lot this evening.

I formated the way I did so people could more easily get the list into their bookmark file.

Alan,

I took your work and made a menu item on http://www.OhioCCW.org on the right side under the "More Information" menu. I also put a link in the header of the forums linking people to that page. The "sticky" would really grow old and be hard to maintain long term, and this is really where something like that should go.

But I also see how it's likely to be used a lot from the forums. Thanks! This is a great addition to the site that is long overdue.

As long as stuff is being changed on the main site, I thought I would mention the FAQ has pre 347 wording (plain sight vehicle carry, ETC).
