Truly a sad day.
I hope that "suspect" gets what he deserves.

WHEN THE OFFICER APPROACHED THE CAR..THE MAN SHOT HIM IN THE FACE WITH A SHOT-GUN.

THE SUSPECT HAS A CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT, HIS DRIVING RECORD COMES BACK CLEAN, AND HE IS MARRIED TO AN OAKWOOD POLICE OFFICER AND THEY HAVE A ONE-YEAR-OLD CHILD.

From the WKYC live chat. They are saying he was a CCW holder. If this is true it is surely bad for us!!

That is what 19's web site said at the time of my post.

I hope 19 and myself reported it wrong, trust me.

19 is also stating that police and SWAT surrounded a house in Twinsburg Twp. and the suspect was taken into custody shortly after.........

WKYC is reporting that the suspect was caught in Bedford Hts. and that the wife of the killed officer is an Oakwood cop.

Obviously, the details are still being figured out.

Ch 19 is always quick to report things that later turn out to be false. Wait for a credible source.

Our thoughts are with the officer's family, friends and brothers in blue who must be going through heck right now. May they, someday, know peace.
