Forum Issues

Post by jgarvas »

Hey Everyone - I am aware that the forums have been throwing some SQL errors lately. At first I thought this was a fluke but upon a little further digging I found some pretty serious issues.

I've made some dramatic changes that last time I enabled them it caused people to get randomly logged out in the middle of a session. I've tried to solve for that problem. So the whole point of this post is to say if you notice that the forums kick out of a logged in session in the middle of you navigating pages, etc. please post that experience here as a comment.

I'm hoping what I did today will bring back normal stability with no negatives.

Contrary to a popular belief when I brag about OFCC accomplishments I'm not looking for your thank you or personal recognition. I'd much prefer you send me an email telling me when you are going to get involved in doing what I've been doing since 1999. We are only as effective as we make ourselves. We need the next generation of OFCC to step to the plate.

Is that you?
