Meeting me half-way would be repealing half the unconstitutional gun control laws rather than all of them. Why does meeting people half way always mean nudging leftward and never rightward?

Oh, what a shame.

Gov. John Kasich is sounding off on the lack of movement on gun regulations that he’d proposed earlier this year, commenting on it in two separate public events.

What does he expect when he says that he will veto the Stand Your Ground bill. If he won't support this bill why should the legislature support his anti-gun bill. He shot himself in the foot when he started to ride the fence for his future political aspirations. He will switch parties when he lacks support from conservative republicans.

If he did I can guarantee he'd come with more than one bodyguard and I doubt he would wear a pink shirt.

Anybody else remember the first two PITP's when the local police attended?

I remember Governor Strickland attending with a bodyguard and a state trooper who both sat back wondering why they were there when there were so many well-armed people around him.

Bearingarms.com has taken notice of your governor.

Kasich Upset That Pro-Gun Lawmakers Are Acting Like Pro-Gun Lawmake

John Kasich wanted to be president. Right now, I’m damn glad he lost.

You see, the good governor is frustrated. Why? Well, it seems he’s frustrated that lawmakers who were elected at least in part on being pro-gun are acting like pro-gun politicians.

No, seriously.

I don't think he'll switch parties, but rather primary Trump and when he loses run as an independent in order to help the Dems win. He is one of those R's who would rather see Dems in charge than Trump.

Would the I's have him? I don't really foresee Pres. Trump being concerned  about Kasichich siphoning votes away.

Does anyone really think he could win even Ohio, a 2nd time? Really?

There is no single consensus thought about what an "I" is or should be. Even if there were, the entire Independent vote didn't even make a difference in Ohio, at least for the presidential race.

First, he must be popular.
I would guess that his popularity has sunk since he came out of the closet as a gun grabber.

Well, there are different kinds of popularity, you know.
Being popular with the network news channels and being popular with the voters are two entirely separate things.
