Plain Dealer editorial board doesn't like HB 228

Post by rickt »

What a surprise!
The Ohio House's gun cult is at it again, pushing to pass a "stand your ground" bill (Substitute House Bill 228) that is both unnecessary and perilous, and that continues the travesty of shredding home-rule rights in Ohio.

Along the way, our public servants pocket contributions from grateful pro-gun groups who -- knowing they also have friends in the Ohio Supreme Court -- aggressively file lawsuits against those Ohio cities with the presumption to try to ban bump stocks or assault weapons or guns in parks.
I didn't know OFCC and BF gave so much in political contributions to our public servants. :? We spend all our money filing lawsuits against cities who break the law!

What a surprise. I didn't expect this from a liberal newspaper like the Plain Dealer. (Sarcasm)

I know it's been 14 years since licensed CC was enacted in Ohio, but weren't they opposed to that to way back then? Didn't they call CC holders "Dirty Harry wannabes"? Why does anyone listen to these clowns anymore?

Is it strange that 99% of the comments to that story are against the PD editorial board and its endorsements?

Or is it that their target readership doesn't have internet access and/or aren't literate enough to post a comment?
