Ayatollah Khamenei Calls for Gun Control—in the U.S.

Post by High Power »

This is the best endorsement of the 2nd Amendment ever made!

I can, however, only agree with him on one item. That is investigating the Clinton initiated confrontation at the Branch Dravidian Compound. Those people were "Looney-Toons" but they were harmless and didn't deserve to die.

Other than that, this person is precisely the reason that the 2nd Amendment should not be infringed.

“You hear and witness that every day in schools, in universities, in markets, and on the street that a teenager, a man, or a woman fires a volley of bullets at some people because of some problem they have--they are extremely angry, or they are mad and have some personal problems,” Khamenei said.

“They kill eight, ten, twenty--more or less--people, and families mourn the loss of their dear ones,” Khamenei continued. “Why do they not stop this? The reason is that gun companies prevent this, and the US administrations are under the influence of these companies. This is a very important issue which should be addressed and pursued by the UN.”
Is this really the argument that the woke are leading with? That somehow only gun companies buy politicians? That no other industry buys votes?

BTW, ask your friendly local proRKBA constituent and ask how much bang they're getting for their vote with a GOP controlled US Congress, POTUS and SCOTUS. You may be surprised to find that proRKBA constituents see great threats to their Liberty.

Anybody want to ask the pool industry or the motorcoach industry how many deaths at the hands of their products?

It would be nice for some reporter to ask Kim Jong Un if he agrees with the Ayatollah's comments.

I'm surprised he didn't blame "the Jews(tm)".

Just don't. You'll make their heads explode.

It's like those parents who are adamantly anti-gun, but buy Star Wars "blasters" for their kids to play with because they're "obviously not guns" (WTF?!) or think it's cute that their kids are reenacting the duel between Burr and Hamilton with toy reproduction dueling pistols because that's "not a gun" (WTF?!  Didn't you just want to ban "military grade firearms," two minutes ago?!? ).

There is no logic.

^ I loved that one. :) Thanks for bringing that back!

Watching that video again, when that guy says "Hashtag: CHL," I can't help but think of this recent article by Dean Weingarten in Ammoland Shooting Sports News, titled: "Legally Armed People Have a Murder rate similar to Japan."

Dean Weingarten in Ammoland wrote: The United States, as a whole, has a much higher murder rate than Japan. Within the United States, there is a law abiding culture that has a murder rate as low as Japan's. That culture consists of gun owners who carry guns legally.
It's weird, right? That people who normally follow the law continues to follow the law?

From the article below:
If memory serves, none of America’s mass murder sprees took place at a shooting range. Just as rare are mass murders at police stations, gun shows and gun stores. That’s because people in those places have guns, unlike gun-free zones’ human clay pigeons.
This article is about 3 years old but still true: https://www.ocregister.com/2015/10/10/m ... un-ranges/
