Helpful information about weapon disabilities

Post by bsctov »

There have been a few posts about weapon disabilities lately, and I want to provide the most recent version of the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission guidance on weapon disabilities. This form is used by commanders of police academies to determine if certain applicants are disabled from firearms ownership, and how they can be resolved.

It appears that they take the position that the sealing of the conviction record relieves an Ohio state weapon disability, which is welcome news.
