All, I'm trying to find out how many women in NE Ohio are interested in joining a club. I'm NOT a female, but my wife surely is. I've been kicking around the idea since moving to Columbiana County about 5 years ago. I think the time is right to move forward. Let me kick this around with some other folks and see if we can make it happen. If you're interested, send me an email.

Since I didn't update my profile yet, I will tell you more about me. I'm a retired air force guy, married a long time, multiple children, three grand children, one cat, one dog. Got my CC permit last year. Love shooting, always have. Also have a solid education--Have an AA, BS, and MBA. Send me an email directly to email deleted per TOS - Jake with subject of Women Shooters. I'll lump em all together and use them as a selling point. Tell your women friends as well. Oh, it might interest you to know one of my friend is the ONLY women deputy Sheriff in Columbiana--and she's a heck of a shot!

leeinleetonia,

I received info from a couple of the ladies who are in the Cleveland & Youngstown areas as well as a couple of us here in the Akron/Stow area so it seems like we are all spread out over Ohio...lol

Not sure if I can post this and if not I am sure the mods will delete it. I go to the range in Canal Fulton. Tuesday nights from 6 to 8 is free for us Ladies. Would love to see some of you out there. I am out there most Tuesday night lol. http://midwestgunclub.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The theory that a woman found dead in the woods, brutally raped and strangled is somehow morally superior to that same woman explaining to police how her would be rapist got that fatal bullet in his body.

Minimal brat, I'm not a moderator just longtime member but see no reason for your post to be deleted.
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

Several women shoot the regular IDPA matches at Fort Harmar Rifle Club near Marietta, OH. The last couple of years they have held ladies only IDPA matches also. They hold a Women on Target every year, too. The web site doesn't have this years schedule posted yet.

NE Ohio is home to several chapters of the national "A Girl & A Gun" women's' shooting league.
I belong to the Auburn Twp. chapter (currently shooting at Top Gun in Middlefield) and also shoot with the Northeast chapter (currently shooting at Urbandale in the summer and moving to the new range in Mentor in October).

First Strike indoor shooting range is very women friendly. It's in Newbury and I'm a member and practice there regularly.
Yeah, I shoot like a girl. Would you like a lesson?

You could give the owner of Lady Finger Point & Pull a call. I believe she hosts several different lady only events.

This is the web site,
http://www.ladyfingerpnp.com/

And here is her FB page,
https://www.facebook.com/LadyFingerPointNPull

Edit to add;
I believe Select Fire in Berea has a women's league on either Tues or Thurs evenings. You could call and ask to find out for sure.

North Olmsted Sportsman's Club has some ladies nights (http://www.nosc-online.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). In addition, Ashland Lake Gun Club (http://www.ashlandlakegunclub.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) also has some ladies only events in their calendar this year.
