Rootstown Community Park / Gracie Field - Sent 10/3

One of my hobbies is Geocaching, which takes me to many parks. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, I was at the Rootstown Community Park / Gracie Field and they still have their gunbuster sign up. I noticed wording at the bottom of the sign that says even those of us who have the concealed carry permits and are legal elsewhere are verboten from carrying in their park.

This is on Cook Rd. in Rootstown.

(edit: the park's home page also prohibits guns:

"5. No person shall take or discharge any gun, revolver, air or gas rifle or pistol, or slingshot into any park area, shelter, or facility."
