Update ! - Just applied in Crawford County!

Post by TylerDurden »

They seem very receptive to CCW. The LEO said they now have over 500 for Crawford County and I was the third today. He seemed to think I would get the license in 10 days! Provided I pass the background check - no worries there.

Update -

It only took 10 Days! - Great Experience! - Picked up my permit and my new Ruger LCP on the same day. :D

Congratulations Tyler, pull up a chair and stay a while, we're not only helpful here, but we're habit forming as well

Welcome to the forums Tyler!

Jump in and splash around anytime you feel the need.

Just one thing. The card you were issued says it is a LICENSE not a permit, and most of us here are very, very touchy about calling it a permit.

The difference may seem moot but it's not to us.

My husband applied in Crawford County and he has now waited 3 full weeks without a word. Shoulda gone elsewhere.

My wife and I both applied in Crawford County on Aug 29th. (Late Friday afternoon).
Very good reception from the LEOs.
My wife received hers the next Friday (even after they needed to check her medical background)
I received mine the Tuesday after Labor Day. (1 day later)
Very good experience, in fact we were encouraged by the LEO, that this was a great thing we were doing.
