From the article...

''So far, every petition filed in the county has been granted by the Judge.'' But of course! Does ANYONE think a judge is going to say ''NO'', on that 1-1,000,000 chance that ''NO'' ends up should have been 'YES'' ?
Even the minor (juvenile)described in the article who ''had a dream'' of killing someone...almost lost gun rights for a year...for guns they never had  . Translation of almost: Parents had to spendspendspend lotsa CA$H, legal fees etc.

remember Floridians...Vote Scott for Senate :P .If you don't, he might do something like this again. If you do, he might...
Acquisitions thus far:

-Slingshot
-Butter knife
-Soda straw and peas
-Sharpened pencil
-Newspaper roll
--water balloon (*diversionary*)

Yeah, I'm that good

In Pinellas County, a 5-man team is devoted to working only risk protection cases. So far the team has filed 64 risk protection petitions in court, the second highest number of cases in a Florida county. Broward County has the most, 88 risk protection petitions (as of early-July) since the law took effect in mid-March.

Florida’s version of the ‘red flag” law as its also known is starting to reveal some disturbing grey areas, specifically among individuals who don't have histories of violence or mental illness.

“These are individuals who are often exercising their first amendment rights online, who are protecting constitutionally protected speech online,” she said. “Maybe it was odious, maybe people didn’t like it but they were hit with the risk protection order because of it.”
“It’s not that we don’t have enough scoundrels to curse; it’s that we don’t have enough good men to curse them.”–G.K. Chesterton-Illustrated London News, 3-14-1908
