In case anyone thinks it's just about banning AR's

And after they get semi auto rifles banned, semi auto handguns will be next to follow, because handguns have been used in mass shootings also. Even a double barreled shotgun was once used in a mass shooting a long time ago. It only stopped when one of the potential victims got a gun and shot him.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) on Wednesday night attempted to argue that the only way to keep individuals from skirting loopholes in proposed gun laws would be to ban all semi-automatic rifles, but the crowd cut him off to applaud the ban itself.

“The issue is not the loopholes. It’s the problem that once you start looking at how easy it is to get around it, you would literally have to ban every semi-automatic rifle that’s sold,” Rubio said during a CNN town hall event after last week’s Florida school shooting.

He was then interrupted by applause.

“Fair enough, fair enough. That is a valid position to hold, but my colleagues do not support banning every semi-automatic rifle sold in America,” Rubio said, prompting jeers from the crowd.

Earlier in the same event, Rep. Ted Deutch (D-Fla.) vowed to introduce legislation next week banning assault weapons.

He needs to have someone step forward and be a voice of the crowd and ask how things will work when all assault-style rifles are banned and shootings (probably with a blunderbuss) still occur, what is the next step. And the next step. Eventually they will 'fess up to their ultimate goal: a pixey-dust, rainbow-covered world where everyone loves each other and there is no violence because the evil musket has been taken away.

Exactly.. How much is enough? They won't stop, until they think they are done.
I heard on the radio today (610 am / On Target) that after England/UK outlawed firearms, knife attacks greatly increased. Knives are now banned there ( ?) Supposedly now plastic cutlery is either next or you must be over a certain age to purchase it. Plastic cutlery..
