Freedom Index released: Spot the GOPers

Post by bignflnut »

"The Freedom Index: A Congressional Scorecard Based on the U.S. Constitution" rates congressmen based on their adherence to constitutional principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, national sovereignty, and a traditional foreign policy of avoiding foreign entanglements. The percentages below are cumulative scores based on key votes from 1999 to the first part of 2017. Click on a senator's or representative's name to get a detailed breakdown of his or her voting record.
You'll recognize some of the high profile names, but look at the scores 0-100%; see if you can determine who is and who is not on our side.

The Late Tweed Ring said that we should have all done more to elected Republicans...
“It’s not that we don’t have enough scoundrels to curse; it’s that we don’t have enough good men to curse them.”–G.K. Chesterton-Illustrated London News, 3-14-1908

"Avarice, ambition, revenge and licentiousness would break the strongest cords of our Constitution, as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." John Adams to Mass Militia 10-11-1798
