National Reciprocity Petition

There are no dangerous weapons; there are only dangerous men. - RAH
Four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, ammo - use in that order.
If you aren't part of the solution, then you obviously weren't properly dissolved.

For those who haven't seen OFCC's official position paper on reciprocity, the download is here: http://noicefamilyfirearms.com/resource ... -18-17.pdf

Although I am going to sign it, it seems a little redundant to petition the white house to do something the President campaigned on. The President can't do this on his own, it requires the Republican controlled House and Senate to actually do something.

If it wasn't so sad, that right there would be hilarious.

And that, in turn, requires each of us to do something.

An OFCC director and I met with Congressman Jim Jordan and others a few months ago in DC to discuss the bill. There are now at least 204 co-sponsors on HR38.

Keep calling and emailing Congress.

But, it wouldn't hurt for POTUS to put some pressure on them.

It's interesting. There are states that are standing on State's Rights by willfully disobeying/rejecting federal guidance on marijuana laws. Where's the punishment?

All 50 States still claim some ugly court decisions mandate certain acts be legal in their State (and there's no blatant amendment in the federal constitution for that). Acts that some would call murder.

Yet, RKBA remains maligned and mired in piece-meal offerings from State Legislatures with the blessing of most Police Unions. (See having a "license" to carry a weapon concealed-show me that distinction anywhere in the federal constitution)

Which side of this do we want to fall on? The all powerful national government in DC, or the power to override such Federal authority given to the States? Do we remember which came first? Does the clay control the potter?

Oh, yeah...forgot about the "sanctuary city" example of State defiance regarding Federal power.

Don't we enjoy the States giving the Feds The Raspberry?
Make National Reciprocity the law....and see if the States all fall in line...

Be careful when asking for an all powerful national government, you just might get it.
