Musician Kid Rock has announced his bid for the U.S. Senate in Michigan.
In a tweet Wednesday, Rock, whose birth name is Robert James Ritchie, wrote that the website “KidRockForSenate.com” was real and to stay tuned for “a major announcement in the near future.”
If a man is over 40, can he be "Kid" anything (yes, even "Kid Poker")?
Remember that the US Senate currently sports a comedian from SNL and the POTUS has prominently appeared on WWF/WWE.
A former wrestling star was once the governor of Minnesota, and another aspires to the Presidency in 2020.

James Trafficant's corpse, however, wheezed "Beam me up, Scotty", when we pushed on it's belly.

I don't know. It would be rather interesting to see him in office.

Samuel Adams wrote:If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.
Don't forget the union leader and host of "Death Valley Days" that became POTUS.

Four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, ammo - use in that order.
If you aren't part of the solution, then you obviously weren't properly dissolved.
During an April 13, 2013, interview, then-CNN host Piers Morgan asked Kid Rock if he owned “a lot of guns” and he responded, “Yes, tons.” Morgan then asked if Kid Rock was safe with his guns, to which he responded, “Yes.” Morgan then appeared to search for a flaw he could exploit by asking, “Why do you trust 315 million other Americans to be safe with them?”
Kid Rock simply smiled and said, “‘Cause I got one.”
There's an article on Breitbart "What Senator Kid Rock Might Mean for the Second Amendment", the previous was an excerpt.
Nugent is slacking
Can't wait to see people like George Takai vs Kid Rock in Senate hearings.

The Nuge, who I said was slacking (as he continues his decades of concerts), has chimed in:
In a Newsmax TV interview this week, Nugent claimed that “some goofball” in the Michigan Republican Party pulled the idea “out of their a--.”
“My friend Bob Ritchie never thought, never hinted, never mentioned, never gave any consideration whatsoever to running for public office,” said Nugent, a native of Metro Detroit.
“That the GOP and the media continue to milk this nonsense is one of the most embarrassing chapters for the Republican Party. Somebody write this down: Kid Rock ain’t running for squat.”
Is "goofball" still allowed? Doesn't that offend someone?

Kid Rock is ending months of speculation about a possible Senate bid, reportedly saying, ---- no, I’m not running for Senate.”
“Are you ----ing kidding me? Who couldn’t figure that out?” the “All Summer Long” singer said on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show on Tuesday, according to The Detroit News.
