Seattle Gun Tax Fails

Homocides have doubled, shootings are way up.

They were supposed to rake in $300,000 to 500,000 to defray the costs of gun violence. The government is fighting releasing figures. One politician reluctantly admits it is less than 200,000. One of the gun store folks in litigation says from the data they have forced from them the collected figure is around 100,000 and speculates whether the drop in sales tax negates even that. Meanwhile because of the increase in crime the costs of gun violence have gone way up and the study it was to fund was funded out of the general fund.

Interestingly enough the study is finding the same people keep committing all of the crimes and getting shot. Why not just lock them up and call it a day, then stop hindering law abiding citizens from exercising their God given rights?
God,
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can
and the Wisdom to know the difference.

Carrying a gun is a right, not a crime.

Gun control is racist.
