I heard from an old friend of ours

Post by Chuck »

Our old friend, BobK, the old jumping frog himself, recently called me to say hi and shoot the bull.
He is doing well down in Houston, and perhaps may be getting over the urge to move back to Ohio once he retires.
As he told me, "I live in Texas now. I don't have to fight for my gun rights here."
Makes me want to move to Texas too

The reason for the call was his son wants to get his license, and Bob wanted me to teach him
The class was yesterday.

Sure was nice hearing from Bob!

Glad he's doing well!

I have to say that although Texas firearm laws are well ahead of Ohio's, there is still work to be done. They must have a license to openly carry a handgun, and there are many places where Texans are restricted from carrying under state law.

I assume you reminded Bob that Texans are still allowed to post here?

30.06 and 30.07 signs are fairly prevalent down in Houston, so it not utopia.

No rub against BobK, and they certainly don’t have a Kaisch

So then Chuck...

How DOES one contact you for training if they have a prospective student they'd like to have take a class from you?

I went to the training area of this forum amd chased my tail, no word there or on the OFCC search engine for trainers that directs me to your classes.

Do I need to contact BobK and have him give you a call? ;)
I like to swap brass... and I'm looking for .32 H&R Mag, .327 Fed Mag, .380 Auto and 10mm. If you have some and would like to swap for something else, send me a note!
