IL STATE REP. FRED CRESPO: Those High-Capacity Magazines That Turn Regular Firearms Into Fully Automatic Weapons

Don't these people even THINK to check their statements before publishing them?
Meet Illinois State Representative Fred Crespo. He likes to tout how he fights back against NRA-backed politicians. Furthermore, he supports legislation to "prohibit the sale and possession of high capacity magazines which turn regular firearms into fully automatic weapons."

Really. Here's a photo of a letter Crespo sent to one of his constituents.

The last line of the article is 100% true IMHO.
"That's what you get when low-information voters elect low-information politicians."

Just a couple years ago, Ohio law deemed that 31+ magazine capacity made a firearm an illegal automatic weapon. :?

Doesn‘t matter what you say, as long as you say it often enough and loudly enough. In that case, it must be true.
