I sure hope that's not what we're arming our boys with.. can't imagine trying to stop a charging suicide bomber with an AR15-22

If you're good enough to put the round into his eye, you would have a chance.

I've read that if you can get enough shots into the same artery it would block it....

Back when I was in the intelligence game, I remember reading a report that the .22 was an effective round for close quarters assassination as it was easier to suppress and a penetrating head shot was almost always fatal as the round would not exit the skull, but bounce around inside it. However, that was fifty years ago and the studies, if any, may be different now.

And the prevailing advice among many who claim to be counter terrorism experts is if you are going to shoot a suicide bomber, it had better be a head shot, to prevent them from blowing up the vest even after shot. (as happened in an airport bombing in Turkey)

He's not a very good example of someone who should be in charge of any decisions involving finances, as he could've done this same grandstanding and posturing with a pellet rifle and saved a lot of money. The supporters he is looking for only care about symbolism over substance anyway.

While saying that his political opponent and Trump are exploiting guns and God, he turns around and exploits the fact that he is a veteran and pastor. Nothing against religion or the military, but that doesn't qualify or disqualify somone for political office. I'm a veteran too, so what? A few of the biggest crooks and scoundrels around have been either religious leaders or veterans.
