Good call. I think young people should have decided if they are a man or a women BEFORE joining our Military...
Trump Says That Transgender People Will Not Be Allowed in the Military
WASHINGTON — President Trump announced on Wednesday that the United States will not “accept or allow” transgender people in the United States military, saying American forces “must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory” and could not afford to accommodate them.
Mr. Trump made the surprise declaration in a series of posts on Twitter, saying he had come to the decision after consulting with generals and military experts...

I was a bit annoyed a while back when I saw an article about the military having to pay for the trans surgery.. That's on you , shouldn't be on the tax payer or govt.. likewise for those incarcerated in prison.

Good to know that we've fixed the health care system, simplified the tax code, solved all our foreign affair problems, and finally gotten rid of all the corruption in Washington that we can worry about non-consequential problems like transgenders in the military.

Having talked with some current active duty members of a couple of different branches, it is not inconsequential to the military. Granted, it's not nearly as important as the other issues you mentioned, but this at least is an issue that actually falls under the authority of the President. (at least until some group files a suit like as was done with the travel ban) Most of the other issues mentioned literally require an act of Congress.

Great, let's call our reps and senators and tell them gun rights don't matter until the issues you mentioned are resolved.
In true media fashion...only the outrage in the LGBTQ community is being reported on....along with their supporters in the government ie. Democratic Congresspersons etc. are voicing their displeasure. Very few if any media outlets are featuring stories which have commentary by supporters of the move.

The military spends $40M on Viagra each year compared to 20% of that on transgendered related costs. Does THAT make sense? There are arguments to be made on each side, but cost is hardly an impactful one.
