Brickarms - Everything you need for the lego firearms enthus

Post by Bruenor »

Interesting idea for a business..

What began as a request in 2006 by my youngest son (then 9 years old) for World War II weapons has grown into a business that currently produces hundreds of different weapons & accessories, weapons packs, and custom minifigs that are prized by collectors worldwide.

Chapman fleshed out the designs for some of America’s most iconic firearms.

“We got right to work designing an M4, MP40, M1A1, and M1911, and sent the designs to a professional tool designer to make a US-made high-quality injection mold,” Chapman told Guns.com in an email. “BrickArms was born.”
Chapman said that out of the entire BrickArms weapons catalog — which spans Medieval, WWI, WWII and modern gear — the M1911 pistol and AK are the most popular firearms with the Minigun and M2HB heavy machine gun following close behind.

Though Chapman’s creations started with WWII weapons, minifigs, or small plastic figurines, soon followed.
Would have loved this when I was a kid..

part of enthusiast, when the character limitation of the subject line cuts you off, and you don't notice it...

WOW!!! For about $10 you can get your 7 year old expelled from every US public school for life.

I had just read this story from 2010 this morning and now this thread shows up.

If you aren't part of the solution, then you obviously weren't properly dissolved.

Yeah, Lego weapons are extremely deadly. not quite as deadly a the pop tart gun, or a finger gun though. amazing how all those weapons make the same sound though.. pew pew pew !

I wonder if those people fly to trade shows with their samples.
