Those two Colt M45A1's are ridiculously valuable by the way. Remember how the USMC commissioned Colt to make some high end 1911's a few years ago for their MEUSOC and other high speed low drag forces? Then they decided to pull the plug and decommission them? Colt got those back, X-ed out the Marine logo with a laser, and sold them through more or less Marine-veteran-only channels. There were about 50 of those made available, #17 and #18 above are two of them.
Maybe we are seeing a new trend of information-sharing here between the dealers, police, and BATFE. Normally we in the public don't get shown "hot sheets" when it comes to stolen firearms. I for one appreciate it.
